A person's contact details are not hard to find, thanks to phone books. Since they were made available on the internet, you just need to type that person's name and you will find the information you need. If you need large amounts of contact details, for various purposes, like direct marketing campaigns, a simple search function will not help you. CatchaPage is capable of collecting and storing this information from online yellow pages, all over the world.

You can download the software immediately, thanks to the small size of the setup kit. Installing it on your Windows powered computer will not take long either. The process is straightforward and fast and you will not have to make any advanced configurations.

The interface works like a web browser, but you can not use it to access any web page you want. It may look confusing at first, but you can find step by step instructions on the Home page. The software extracts contact information from a series of templates, which can be accessed by clicking a button on the Home page. They are grouped, according to their countries of origin, in a long list. You will have to download a template and load onto CatchaPage's interface like a normal file.

All templates are phone books, yellow pages or other similar services. When a template is loaded, you may use the phone book service normally. After performing a search, the found information can be extracted right away, by clicking the Capture button on the toolbar or the one in the upper left corner of the interface. While the software is processing, you can see how a data grid is being filled up, on a separate page.

The extracted information includes names, categories, phone numbers, addresses and much more. With the options on the toolbar, you can save the data in an Excel spreadsheet or in a CSV file, using different separators. When browsing a yellow pages service, you can enable or disable the JavaScript and set the program to capture emails and extra information as well. The extracted details, in the data grid, will not be overwritten if you extract information a second time. The new contact information will be inserted after the first batch, continuing the list. The grid can be emptied manually and you may also delete individual items or duplicates, just by clicking a few options on the toolbar.
